None of the course guys are stepping up a couple of other guys are in with an inflatable and possibly Dick Swain. Mat from Berridale is heading OS during
February.   The corsica overflow will be there.

Could maybe get a surf session in Early Sun morning prior to the taps being turned on. ;D

Would ony be an optin for those that though that full days at Penos was not going to sap enough energy for the weekend ::)

Ben and I are in for both days.

Just looking at accommodation for the 16 feb its all booked out at The Nepean Shores Resort due to a rowing regatta.

Sydney Gateway Holiday Park has 3 b'room cabins available from about $190 for 2 people plus $30 per head for up to
6 & 8 people so fairly cheap if you can organise 4 or more to a cabin.
Its the old Olympic village accommodation and its about 15 minutes to Penrith. Its located in Parklea.

The other option is A-Vina Van Village which are similar costs Located at Vinyard in more of a rural setting
and about the same travel time to Penrith.

Anyone else no of decent accommodation near penrith?

Another option is the Wallacia Hotel $130 for twin rooms about 20 mins away.  The Penrith visitor centre thinks that the other caravan parks previuosly mentioned are about 30 to 40 minutes away.

Ok

Lets turn some talk into reality.

Klevo reckons that including himself he will have a total of four from Cooma.  I am thinking that they will all travel in a single vehicle.

Ben has pulled the pin and as such I am counting Mick and Brad, BJ and Myself as confirmed with a number of other possible starters from Canberra (Dan, James?)

There may also be a crew that decide that they they can make Sunday only.

I reckon that we lock in some accomodation now.  Option one is Sydney Gateway Holiday Park at about $50-60 each based on eight in a self contained cabin or the second option is Wallacia Hotel $130 for twin rooms about 20 mins away.  I am happy to do either and though the pub option would be nice there would be less security for boats and gear than there would be at the Holiday park.

I will take the Prado and so can fit comfortable a total of five.  Please confirm soonest if you are going.  How many days and your preference for accomodation (Little Brad any prefernce that you have for the pub will be ignored).  Klevo and I want to get an accomodation booking sorted by the end of the week ;D

Gday all,

Bradley and I are definately in ( Brad asked me to get you to pass on to Ben- YOUR SOFT! Thanks Griff) We are more than likely staying with friends in Mosman, but we`ll let you know how that goes- we may well drive up depending on where we stay....

There is a chap from work who has posted in to Canberra who is very keen, to go as well, James- is out, Bj is superduper keen, Dan was maybe 50%, Thomson?? Al Moore?? Lentel??, Roh??, Nick Danger Thornton??, Sharon?? Dwayne?? Glenn?? any other ideas?

We used to camp cheap at Emu Plains camp ground allot, there is always space there, or a drive up in to the blueys for a camp over night could be the go as well. The tight arse option suits us the best.
Ill  word up the AWWA lads to see if anyone else is keen, but

I'm heading up for the Saturday but heading home in the afternoon. I'll be taking the Transit so I'm happy to take gear up if anyone needs me to. I have 2 seats but not as comfy as Griffs Prado.
