Nick and myself headed up to the mountains once more on Friday and were warmly welcomed with two turbines on at Guthega power station, this was a great level for the Power Station section, so we jumped in. Unfortunatley Nick lost his paddle so if you find a werner player with his name on it, it’s his. We then swapped the play boats for creek boats and did Finn’s Creek, a steep low volume creek that runs into the snowy from the river left about 3/4 of the way down to Island Bend. The first descent of the creek was done the Friday before last by Darlo and Rob, its a solid IV possibly pushing V on some of the drops. Unfortunatley the photos of the creek arn’t great nor plentiful due to daylight issues (we got on the creek at 5:45pm) and very small eddy’s.
