It seems like the big water last month has changed the lobs hole gauge, presumably by moving some sand or debris about in the pool where the gauge is located. I paddled Red Rocks on Saturday with the lobs gauge reading about 2.5m, but the actual level seemed more like 2.1 - 2.2ish. Have a look at the graph comparing the last months water levels to see what I mean.

I’d be guessing that 2.4 at lobs is a scrapey minimum level for Red Rocks trips, corresponding to about 2.0m before the change to the gauge.
