Anyone got a C7 Leafield Valve Wrench
« on: January 09, 2016, 12:25:32 PM »
Hi Griff
I gather you posted on FB for a  C7 Leafield Valve Wrench.
I have a home made one made from an old piece of 316 that you can borrow. It works pretty well.   I also have spare relief valves.
If you want to bring boat around sometime tis OK.
FYI both Leafied and Halkey valves should be tightened just a fraction more than hand tight.

Thanks for that Nick, nice looking piece of gear! I'm sure Griff will be in touch, he has the sporty at the moment.

Now I was looking at the damn valve and thinking how I could build an improved wrench. That design did not enter my mind.  I will give you a call and organise to drop round with some cold ones. VB if I remember correctly.
