I'm in, and have the weekend free at this stage too. I'd be up for Munyang/Euc/Thredbo if there's any water about, or even a trip to the Mitta/Murray gates etc.

Do we have details for the trip?  Where to meet, times, etc?

Thanks
Geoff

Plan is to meet at the Hume Servo Friday at 0545.  We will load vehicles and get going at 0600. It is going to be a long day on the water and we will likely break into two groups,. At this stage I have the following people paddling:
Stu, Mick, Little Brad, Duane, Kenna, West, Jamie, Dan, Geoff, Warren, Gareth.

If you are not going to paddle and I have listed your name please post.  Similarly if you intent to stay up in the area to paddle on the weekend please post. If your name is not listed and you want to paddle please contact me 0499 047 662.

Thanks for a great paddle last week.

Seems amid the car shuffling there was much dispersal of gear post-paddle.

From my end, I'm missing a pair of soggy black fleece pants. Anyone pick them up after the take-out? I hear kenna may have been the last to see them?

Gareth - can you let me know how best to get your thermos back to you.

Stu, I passed on your tie down strap to Griff - I hear you may have had one of his, so perhaps you're now even.

Nah I own a couple of tie downs alex. They are really easy to use and heaps quicker than tying a truckers knot.

Only thing running lower than the rivers are my standards.

That reminds me Tom I have one of your said straps that has been trying to return to its spiritual home, but may well be held captive by Griffith Thomas in exchange for his strap...that I temporarily held until it sought a new life of freedom with Bea in jindabyne... Until it returns by Australia post with my copy of NSW rivers sometime on the future. The life of a tie down indeed.

If you end up with a tie down in your boot it's yours fair and square.  No one owns them.

a) I agree, cam straps belong to the universe, not to any one person
b) Rope is WAY quicker for tying a boat onto racks.  I reckon I would go close to doing two boats with rope in the time taken to do one boat with cam straps.  In fact, I propose a race.

I have a tie down with GT  written on it. No idea who that is. And I recently (3 months ago) aquired a big black strap which is long enough to tie two boats onto two separate cars at once!

Was the Nomad actually.   Yarralumla to Tuggeranong via the Parkway including the big left hander from cotter road onto the parkway and plenty of 100km/h driving.  That thule rubber sure is sticky.
