Hi Fellow Paddlers,

I am visiting from Melb over this coming long weekend. My hope is to leave with a boat on my rooftop.

Which boat is the million dollar question (that's not my budget Wink

I am curr:
87kg
167cm
Exp: 6y
My last boat (that I loved): Bliss Stick SCUD
I am looking for a boat that I can run a river/creek with, and play on the way.
Take to the surf from time to time and have fun.

OR/AND
Playboat that I can Take to the surf/lake/park from time to time and have fun.
Go down the river play and arrive in 1 piece!

Suggestions?

Any extra gear with boat would be great, especially a Paddle!

Thanks
Shai

The kind of boats which spring to mind are wave sport fuse and  fluid nemesis. They have playfull ends but still have a little bit of speed about them. However, I have found that the shortest boat possible gives the best results in the surf. I own a wavesport project x. Loads of fun in the surf, on river features and flat water but  the compromise is speed, so just have to know my limits as to what river runs to take it on.

Hi BJ,

Thanks for your reply!

It may just be that I was hoping to get an all in one boat, impossible...
That's why we end with 3+ boats I guess

Will checkout  these boat that you mentioned.
Cheers,
Shai
