Hi all

I'm looking to purchase a two seater kayak (non inflatable) that can hold a few fishing rods. My aim is just to paddle around the lakes in Canberra so don't need anything fast but preferably steady and easy to paddle around.

Do you have any recommendations or at least what to avoid?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to go into WETSPOT in Fyshwick and chat to the team.  They will give you great advice and have a huge range of watercraft. http://www.wetspot.net.au/

If you want a 2nd hand one my mate in Canberra is probably keen to offload a Prowler. Excellent fishing kayak for lakes or ocean.
