Anyone want to do a late Sunday run on the Digbee.  Meet Weston at 1530 if the water comes.

Is the Digbee worth a drive from Sydney?

IMH yes.  It will be touch and go.  Will likely be able to make a call Sun morning on if it is going to be runable.

Simon, yep.  You should be able to do a double lap pretty easy.  It's not the longest run but it's one of the best in NSW without a doubt.

Mick

Thanks for the offer.  We might take you up on your offer if the rains come.  I can only make a late afternoon run due to other committements.  It might be that I fall in on a second lap if others want to do an ealier run.

Send down the rain ;D

Here is a link to the guage  at the start of the grade 3 run http://waterinfo.nsw.gov.au/water.shtml?ppbm=410039&rs&1&rslf_org.  It is more relevant than the wee jasper guage.  Min level is also about 1.2 on this guage.  Curently sitting on 1 m at 7:51 PM.  I will check it in the morning.  Unfortunately I do not thinK that there will have been enough rain :'(

Lads

The Digbee guage at Brindabella is at 1.18 and is still rising.  Looks like we will get some more rain today (Only about 5 mm).  I am keen to paddle, albeit that it is going to be on min level.  Dave B and Stu are keen to do the top (Grade 3 section) only.  Might I suggest a group RV at Weston McDonalds at 1 PM and they do the top section.  I will RV at Weston McDonalds at 3.30Pm and we can go to the put in of the grade 4 section.

Give me a ring if you are going to paddle. 0499047662. I am going to have phone only access today.

For those driving on Gentle Annie Track please be very careful.  There is a big hole about halfway down that has seen a number of 4wds roll in the last month.

Mick if you are able to your support to drive shuttle would be appreciated. ;D

We're heading over to the Goob a bit earlier, probably leave Canberra around 9:30 on the highway.  Aiming to get a couple of runs on the gorge then home via brindabella with a quick paddle on the top section of the digbee.

Hope the hole on Gentle Annnie is not too big.  My car only just makes it..

Stu - you're welcome to join us.  Give me a call if you're keen.
