Equipment wanted and advice please

Hello,
I have decided to get into white water kayaking. But I have no kayak or other equipment.
I am 5'7" and 70kg
Thinking river runner with surf capability so I can use at beach as well (my knowledge of kayaks is limited - a bit of sea kayaking only).
Please let me know if you have a kayak and or equipment for sale, please provide make and model so I can search for reviews.
Also I have found a helmet on Gumtree and would like advice if it is a good choice
